On its 29 October earnings call Gilead said patients have begun dosing in a China investigator-initiated trial of an in vivo BCMA CAR-T program with Shenzhen Pregene. The newly disclosed dosing is a clinical execution milestone, not a new safety or efficacy result.<\/p>\n

Pregene and Kite announced their collaboration in October 2025. Gilead described current human dosing but did not identify a product code, registry ID, vector or nanoparticle system, cohort size, dose, conditioning regimen, patient characteristics or first-dose date. Pregene\u2019s public site confirms the partnership, not these clinical details. Other China-origin in vivo BCMA programs already have human reports, so this should not be called the first clinical use of the modality.<\/p>\n
