In the 428-patient final efficacy analysis of Phase III ORIGIN 3, atacicept-vymj preserved estimated glomerular filtration rate versus placebo through two years in adults with primary IgA nephropathy. Mean eGFR change at Week 52 was −0.1 versus −5.7 mL\/min\/1.73 m²; annualized eGFR slope through Week 104 was −0.6 versus −5.6, both P<0.0001. Composite kidney-disease progression occurred in 11 versus 38 patients (HR 0.24), supporting a planned Q4 2026 supplemental BLA for full approval.<\/p>\n

The company-issued release was published September 15, 2026 at 6:30 a.m. Eastern and discovered at approximately 8:50 a.m. Eastern. The composite analysis corresponded to a 76% relative risk reduction (95% CI for HR 0.12–0.48; P<0.0001); no atacicept patient versus eight placebo patients experienced dialysis for at least 30 days, transplant, or death through Week 104.
